Violence, and greed are the result of individual actions, of
distinct persons wanting to own the property and lives of
others.
I only have a right to something if I own it. I can't have any right
to something if I don't own it. The absence of this knowledge
is theft, oppression, violence, murder,etc.
You see the results of sporadic crime on tv/internet news.
Real crime is random, and politics spreads that crime,
and it becomes war.
Crimes of individuals aren't punished by the victims. Groups
punish entire groups blamed for the crimes of distinct
persons.
If you decided not to hate, or be selfish, and greedy, I'm very
glad and wish more people would. But trying to make people
peaceful, charitable and good against their will makes the
troubles you mentioned much much worse.
We're all self-interested, and aren't able to care about those
whom we've never met.
Also, you'll drive yourself crazy thinking about the rest of the
world, which limits the amount of good you can do in your
own part of it. Taking thought for tomorrow also prevents you
from giving thought to being dependable today.
Help who you can, but don't make yourself sick over it.
