Yes!!! Bill Clinton is a perfect example of low standards, if you know what I mean. If liberals let their politicians and celebrities set their standard, yikes!

I don't know why, but many of the other answerer's just don't understand "casual". Don't be discouraged, it's a good question.

OMG you mean to tell me no republican ever had casual sex!! Wow those La cross Republican boys who were wrongly accused of rape, Did have consensual sex with the stripper. It was a gang bang! Because they are Republicans it couldn't have been casual sex?
Democrats invented abortion?? I don't think so. I think Democrats are smart enough to realize if someone is going to have an abortion and their mind is made up they are going to do it. They also realize that if abortion was outlawed then a woman when faced with such a situation might just be forced to see a back alley doctor and feel she has nobody she can turn to in her situation. Where as if it's legal they will be able to talk to people who might offer her options that in her confused state of mind she would not see. Honestly think about it if a woman is actually considering having an abortion she can not be thinking clearly.
Also Consider this if with abortions and the drop a baby off at the hospital policy no questions asked. There are still people throwing new born babies down rivers, in trash bins, in dumpster. How much worse would the problem be if abortion did become illegal?
When it comes to sex their are perverts in both parties. Just because something seems bad the banning of something can cause even worse results.

This is your esteemed opinion?

Oh ya, we'll just blame everything we don't like about society on the "liberals." That'll work. Ya.

How old are you? Have you had any "casual sex" lately? Do you intend to get married? And stay married unlike 50% of the couples?

Talk about "lowering standards," how about raising the standard of your questions?

No, I consider myself a moderate, and I don't believe the liberals or conservatives are responsible for the current state of the American society.

I don't think that our society is that bad. I think that politicians are responsible for the divide in our society by concentrating on the evils of the opposite side instead of the virtues of their own agendas. Think about it in the last 8 years anyone with any religious belief has been branded by one side as religious freaks and zealots. Anyone who thinks that we should have never went to the middle east is labeled a pinko commy liberal tree hugger.

These labels do not come from the base of the other side of the fence. They come from one sided hacks like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Moore, they come from the leaders of the democratic and republican parties, not the candidates for office, because they don't want to alienate a voting base, but their press connections and their political machine backers.

The politicians are playing Americans for a bunch of fools they have divided us, and are keeping us from seeing what they are by getting us to concentrate on the evils of the other side.

Statistics do not agree with what you posit. It is an urban tale perpetuated by the conservatives for their own gain. If you were to look at Blue and Red states statistically, you could very logically deduce that your question has no merit.

No.....religion has created a society of sheep and followers who cannot think for themselves and thus cannot deal with real life and make informed decisions. People choose what they want to do. Blaming it on the liberals is just more right wing hogwash.

Why dont you ask Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, Jimmy Swaggert, or Jim Bakker?

Or how about the fact that conservative Christians have the highest divorce rate in the country?

And how about that lovely conservative girl Mary Cheney. Or Jenna and the Bush twins?

People in glass houses. . . .

Do you really think that only liberals have casual sex and abortions?

And talking about lowering standards, many conservatives STILL support Bush - I don't know how you can have lower standards that THAT!

Good question and the answer is yes. Our allies will never trust us to come to their aid now that the Dems would rather quit than fulfill our committments. We will never overcome the disgrace caused by Slick Willy and Monica.
