would u say they speak the way mancunians sound today or 30 years ago?

a) what about accent. do u think they sound 2006, or they try to sound 70s?
b) is their language (vocabulary, grammar) different?

I think they have tried to use the 70's vocab as much as possible - i haven't spotted any anachronisms myself. Accent - well it all depends what part of Manchester they are supposed to be from - a lot of scenes have been from my native Stockport but I'm not always convinced about the accents.
