Genius at what? His public speaking and leadership skills are indicative of a certain evil genius, but militarily, the guy was hit or miss. While the blitzkreig attacks were enough to net a few major countries, his faux pas at splitting his forces to pursue Russia into Stalingrad was moronic.

No, i do not think he was a genius in the strictest sense of the word, he was an evil manipulator who had the answers people wanted to hear and the charisma to make people follow.
He was a man that would not accept NO as an answer and was known to punish (kill) anyone that stood in his way.
His ideas of a master race were way over the top and what he did to try and achieve this is history.

No. A genius would not have forced so many great physicists, chemists and scientists out of their jobs and over to the enemy prior to embarking on an effort to conquer the world. A genius would have figured out a way to keep them on his side and get them working for you rather than against you.

O.K. Kenny
first what is a genius
an exceptional natural capacity of intellect, especially as shown in creative and original work in science, art, music,
So hitler was by definition an evil genius. but wait....there is more
He is also one of historys greatest morons.
Moron....a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment.
I think Hitlers action in instigating the war that killed a hundred million people and largely destroyed his own country makes him quite stupid and lacking in normal judgement that god blesses many of us with.
Hitler....evil genius moron who should forever rot in hell and be the object of disdain for all times.
Kenny....don;t even think for a moment that he was a genius in any positive sense of the word......all inkling of real genius is washed away by his evil deeds.

yeah.. considering that a man like that can be a leader showed that he indeed is genius... he was able to manipulate his position and people for his benefit..
although he abuse his power and became the world most well known brutal man..
but having that persona and charm that can convince many Germans to support him, we can say that he definitely got the brain...

tell your buddy that Hitler became no longer a genius - tell your buddy a infant-kisser who includes his political opposition into his government is a lot greater of a genius than the only that incarcerates and exterminates them in concentration camps. Ernst Thalmann - April sixteen, 1886 - August 18, 1944 a fact isn't impossible to retract. I apologise for my misinterpretation.

He's practical in in war tactics and politics that he drew the sentiments of belligerent germans by his high sounding and emotional speeches written by his side kick that without his alter ego he wont be able to deliver persuasive speeches that made him sympathized by fellow germans. Find his genuiseness then.
