i think we loved her more because of how pretty she is, guys fancied ehr and women wanted to be like her, i think if it was an indian woman as big and old as Ken Russell who had gone in we ould all be laughing at her and against her and would never have voted for her to win, anyone agree?

Shilpa was lovely as a person, not just beautiful. She is an example of how girls here ought to act and deserved to win because of how caring and tolerant she was, not just beautiful or out of sympathy.
I don't think Shilpa got any money - Chantelle just got money last year because she wasn't a "celebrity".
Why do most people seem to be really stupid???
I think the booing was done by morons who supported Jade or racists - not worth bothering about, and there wasn't much booing anyway.

I doubt channel 4 would risk trying to 'fix' the votes given how much trouble this series caused them. Imagine the fall out if then on top of all else they were found to be vote rigging, that would really be the end. However, I do think the entire controversy surrounding Shilpa and her appalling treatment did manipulate the end result somewhat. I just think anyone with a moral conscience felt that justice should be seen to be done, and let's face it Jo, Jack and Danielle stood no chance of winning so that limited options to the final four anyway.

Did you hear all the booing for her? I find it hard to believe that someone could win when so many people were booing. maybe it was a fix but I think she put alot of people to shame by the way she kept her composure and maintained her dignity throughout. She was also very forgiving to her housemates about the whole affair and for that alone she deserves the credit.

I disagree totally, the reason she won was Reverse Racism.
We felt that bad for these 'racist attacks' that they couldn't let anyone else win.
If it had been a White girl in a house full of Asians it would not have made any difference.

She wouldn't have won if Jade hadn't been such a bully. It's a shame that Jade and her family were put into the house. I think Jermaine and Face were the stars of that show.

I didn't see the show, but I wonder if she won naturally or if they gave it to her because she's Indian and was the subject of taunts. In the Caucasian world you are either the winner or the loser,so they either have to boo her or give her the prize .That's just how it works..

She only won because of what happened between her and Jade, its so obvious. Oh well Poor Jade she does feel bad but she did not mean it in a bad why and every one blew it up way to much.
