This is a two part question....Firstly if you have been sent some faulty goods and it does not work or serve it's purpose..it would be pointless to keep it. Phone them up or write to them and tell them. They should send you a replacement.
Secondly...If you have ordered somethings then you should be told or notified of how long it would be to arrive. Generally about a fortnight or ten days depending on the circumstances and shipping. In either cases if the order does not arrive in ten or two weeks time.....keep phoning them up but dont be rude.

If I buy faulty goods, I take it back for a refund or another of the same. If after weeks of waiting on an order, after the first two weeks, I would encourage them to double check on the item but after the second two weeks, no I would not patiently wait. lol

It depends on the value of the goods. I've bought rubbish from eBay but, for the price, it's not worth the effort of returning it and if I give honest feedback no doubt I'll receive a negative in retaliation: not good for my score. In this case I just bin the item. As for goods not arriving I usually ask for a refund. They tend to arrive fairly soon afterwards.

Hi,
You must allow a reasonable time for delivery. You will often see a note in the terms of business that says allow 14 or 28 days for delivery.
If you no longer want the goods then ask for a full refund if you have paid for them and return them if they arrive.

Phone them.Always!!!!!!!!! They need to know that the item has not arrived & either track it to see what has happened or send out a replacement. If you dont phone you aint gonna know. Also if you dont phone they probably assume you have received the item. I would not lose my cool right away, wait & see what the explanation is first then decide the appropriate action/response

complain.. but complain properly. too many folk think complaining is just giving the first person they speak to abuse. wrong, know your case and facts. write it down if its easier and saves you getting tonguie tied. dont swear or raise your voice in frustration. go through the problem from your point of view clearly and concisely then.. the most important part is LISTEN to what you are then told. from there you can reiterate any major point but also address what you have been told. by staying calm and reasonable most situations can be resolved. by all means ask to speak to managers or senior persons, if you dont get sattisfaction then is the time to put your complaint in writing and give them reasonable time to attend to it. if all else fails get in touch with people like trading standards, C.A.B and on occassions the newspapers.
always keep calm and retain your dignity

Phone them and ask for proof that it is in the post, that is after you have given them a good tongue lashing.
