You need to drain down your system Before you do anything Then you have to mount your radiator .Then get some pipe to connect to your rad and the connecting main system and T connectors .Nower days you can get plastic pipes which will save you a lot of trouble .Your local plumbing shop should give you more advice .PS don't forget to shut of your stop tap .

first of all turn of water at supply to stop system refilling then turn off both ends of all other rads saves time when refilling mount new rad on wall gain access to nearest pipes cut then add tee pieces reconnect from tee to new rad then turn water supply back on slowly check for leaks tighten compression joint if necessary then bleed new rad until there is no more air then turn other rads back on then bleed all rads starting down stairs then upstairs hey presto job done bleed rad a couple of days later to allow for settlement

YOU CAN BUY PLASTIC PIPING NOW.THE BEST WAY TO DO IT IS MOUNT YOUR RADIATOR AND FEED YOUR PIPING TO THE CLOSEST RADIATOR AND CONNECT ONTO THAT..MAKE SURE YOU FILL THE RADIATOR AND BLEED IT.
