I remember it clearly. I had just turned 20 the day before and I thought to myself on my birthday that I would start a sexual relationship with the next decent guy I dated. Sure enough, it was the next evening at the bowling alley where the company I worked for was having a night out.

I remember it as seeing myself from above and memorizing everything about it so that I could analyze it later. I did not tell the guy that he was my first and I don't think he knew. He was very gentle and a really nice guy. I dated him for some time after that. Mostly, I think it was curiosity, but there was also some pressure that at age 20 I had not "lost" my virginity. I am glad too that it didn't happen in the back of a car or with someone that didn't really care.

A mixture of curiosity and pressure. I had my first sexual relationship with at the age of 15 with an older man who happening to be quite charming and persuasive. He constantly mentioned my age when I seemed unsure, so I felt very pressured to prove my maturity. However, I had my own curiosities too, and felt very confident in my decision ... at the time. Sometimes now I wish that I waited, but the past is the past.

I was curious and totally besotted by the girl. She said she loved me and wanted to see if the magic was still there after the event.
It was for both of us and lasted for about 3 years. Unfortunately she was killed in a ferris wheel accident otherwise i am sure we would still be just as besotted. I never stop thinking about her and that first experience.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones, as it does not always cement or cause a relationship to last. there are often guilt feelings and worry that you have made a mistake or it was with the wrong person. Mine wasn't!

I have since found love again, but nothing ever dulls my memories of that wonderful person who gave me her special gift to treasure for all of life

I was drunk and not thinking clearly it was the best night I ever had and the next day was the worst, the best because all of my insecurity's that goes along with being a virgin like whether I was going to be the best or the worst she ever had or even just average was lifted off my shoulder's afterwords. the next day I felt terrible because the day before my best Friend broke up with her and I felt like I betrayed his friendship. a long time ago I told myself that I would never be that kind of person and I ended up being that kind of person anyway

I was 17 and my two best friends had been having sex with their boyfriends and I was tired of hearing them talk about and feeling excluded. Wish I'd waited for someone more special. The guy wasn't worthy!
