Kill all the insurgents in Afghanistan and the Middle East, kill everyone in Gitmo and pretty much pray for world peace.

Is there a problem with keeping these sub-humans there?

I agree. All the prisoners there should just be hung. In the future, all terrorists captured should be brutally tortured until they talk, and then hung. This would eliminate the need for the prison in Cuba.

The government must decide which prisoners it wants to prosecute and release the others. Those who have actually committed crimes can be sent to prisons in the United States.

You all make me sick. There are a lot of innocent people being held there. Remember most are held secretly with no cause.
What if other countries could just lock up people (like myself) with blue eyes because of suspicion? Should we all then be shot?
What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Why would you want to close it?What would you do with all of the terrorist prisoners there?set them free?I'm sure in your eyes they are completely innocent and upstanding people.Get a life

If the USA were to just begin summary executions on the battle field there'd be nobody to send to Gitmo.
