Go to 'tools', then to 'option' and then to 'security'. You will be able to give a suitable password.

There is one solution to ur answers. If u r sing XP thenu can right click oonthe folder and then send it to the ZIp compresed foleder.
Once the folder is zipped duble clickon it to enter into the folder. right click anywhere inside the compressed folder and the suboptions u will see password option . Give it a one.
caution: Dnt forget the password otherwise u will not be abe to get it back yby any method.

u cannot password protect a folder..u can hide it..or make it non-sharable
right click the particular folder, go to properties, and click on hidden...the folder wont b viewable..or else right click on sharing and make it non sharable

u will open MS window - then open tool option after then click protection sheet. then u create password. your file is save.
