It's about feeling secure in your relationship. My girlfriend has even been chatted up by my 'friends' behind my back, but she politely declines as she is happy with me and the same is true with my feelings for her. Both of us are flattered by attention and it is normal, but we also feel safe because of total trust. If she felt insecure in herself or was not sure of me, then jealousy creeps in.

You have insecurity around who you are ,and self reassurance .this has nothing to do with the way in which your boyfriend looks, but more about your ajenda, and how you feel.
jealousy is natural, but a horrible emotion, and it can come out sidewauys if it is not harnessed ,and dealt with.
so what if your friends look at your boyfriend, you look at him and he dont belong to you.
yopu are experiencing the fear of your boyfriend and you splitting up thats all.
either you think someone will take him away from you or he will leave.
I wonder what happens with him when he sees men eying you up.
you cannot have everything your own way,or control things to go the way you want them to. if you experience jealousy just have faith and let the emotion go away from you.
If your boyfriend decides to leave you then so be it,and if you decide to finish with him obla de obla da life goes oooooon
its ok this world and the dynamics of relationships and the emotions, take it easy .just aknowledge it when it starts, ands let it go. when jealousyn knocks on your door, open the door with faith, and jealousy shall run away

My lady is very beautiful, inside and out and when I see other people eye-balling her it makes me proud in a 'Ha ha, my lady is fit and you know it' kind of way. Not that she is a trophy or anything. I got one of those for the junior 100 metre swim in 1994.

I was out with my husband and a woman started chatting to him at the bar,i found it funny when she refused to acknowledge me! She was older and uglier than me,so no i wasn't jealous. I do get a bit posessive when a younger or more attractive person comes along, but i know he wouldn't stray. Maybe your friend is a bit insecure.

I alway feel proud of the attention my husband receives from other women. I think he feels the same about attention I recieve from men as long as it's not taken any further.

I'd be proud as well. But, it'll be a different story if my boyfriend is flirting back to them because it's gonna be WORLD WAR.
