How would societies be structured? Would there be convergence in cultures? Would we exist? Would anything else exist? What rules would we live by? Who would be in charge?

I think that more people would be killing each other due to the overpopulation that it would cause.

All these answers are my opinion.

How would the world look like if humans lived for 300 years? It would be more crowded but we would work harder for solutions. All ages of health care and maintenance would be modernized to take care of all generations.

How would societies be structured? We would have found a way to make desserts livable and started living in underseas communities or perhaps even floating cities in the sky. So overcrowding may not be a problem. It's very possible the moon itself would be colonized and maybe even space stations inhabited.

Would there be convergence in cultures? Yes there would. Travel and Internet capabilities would lead to that naturally

Would we exist? Man's instinct is to survive so we will find a way to do that.

Would anything else exist? Of course because man is the only steward species that is concerned about the welfare of other species other than himself.

What would rules would we live by? The ones that have helped us now. Technological and societal influences may affect them. but not really since the nature of man no matter how many generations separate them.

Who would be in charge? Perhaps some international or interplanetary body. And countries would have their own governments and laws. Countries would have them also. And those in the air or under water would have their own also.

I'm too much of a futurist and an idealist to even think man will destroy himself.

humans have lived for 300 years. It is the idea of society and design of structure that continues to live through humans. we always build things for decay maybe as a way to extend our existence because the mind is a hungry world.and the earth has many parasites.but yet we build things to contain our existence and one day there may be a place we all can truly say is home. We fall, we rise up and we build again, each a bit different and not totally changed. i could go on but then again The world might actually be a flat surface and my mind has followed an end, with all the flipping end to beginning the question is. Will i stand or fall. at each turn of the century we will all ask again. and will we learn when to turn a corner ?. thank you for the road less traveled.

We'd look like a bunch of prunes, with faces that look like those of corpses and bodies that would not be able to carry us.
I don't hink there would be much more convergence, in cultures ;although there would be more understanding of things such as war and how to make sure that they do not happen. The rules i think we'd live by might actually be a little different, except possibly we would care more for older people. Who would be in charge? some sixteen year old who we would say has enough youth on his side to run the world.Beauty would be even more important than it is now and because of the longer life span so would youth, You would be past it by 40, permanently!

The earth has shown incredible capacity to sustain successive and continous generations of life. If we live 300 years, the earth will not know it any better and neither will it be any more negatively affected. Fears of over populations reflect global inequalities more than the earth's carrying capacity. Current occupied landmass remains in the units. The earth's space and resources are enough for everyones need--not greed.

On the other hand, human society may benefit from the wisdom that comes with living long, the crux of which is that greed is meaningless and love is everything. One reason for the current rat race is that life is short. If we had longer, we can be more sane-minded to better organise society on the basis of justice, equality, love and sharing.

I have a few answers...
1) I don't think we would even reach 300 years later,I mean our planet now is in danger and humans yet done alot of damage,it won't be long before we extinct because of our own actions.

2) Or just like some people predicted, everything would be artificial, including food, and we might not live in open air. And, yes, society would change too. We might become multiracial, since globalization had happened back then.

3) Or, evil might rise. Like there will be more wars, more killings and sickness is everywhere.

Please read Genesis chapter 5 thru chapter 6. Please look at 6:3 here God changed the age of mankind down to 120 years. Men were GIANTS in those days because of their age verse 4. In verse 5 and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (v6) And it repented the Lord that he made man on the earth, and it grieved (hurt) him at his heart (God). (v7) And the Lord said I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for (I am sorry) it repenteth me that I have made them. (v11) The earth also was corrupt (wasting) before God, and the earth was filled with violence. (v12) and God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. (v13) And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with(from) the earth.
Earth, very croweded.
Societies, like today.
Convergence in cultures, yes
Would we exist. not all on this plantet.
Would anything else exist. yes
Rules GODs i would hope.
Earths goverments would be much like we have now or what was in the past.
When man lived longer in the past he did much evil and so would we if we lived 300 years.
Only God can change this world. Man lived up to 969 years Gen.5:27. These years are the same as we have today.
Hope u r not confused with all this. The earth was once a paradise and we well you know
look at what we got now. I would not like to see man live 300 years. Think of all the bad people they would have 300 years to do EVIL. Not as many do GOOD.

Human society will survive more than 300 years. Going by the rate of change that takes place, it is difficult to guess which way the development and change will take us. But, we will survive the change.

The very rich would find a way to seclude themselves in a secure environment and the rest would keep on killing each other just like they are doing now. End of story!
