Would say it is false.
Love can illuminate another person so much that we suddenly can see things in this person no one else inclusive the beloved one ever has seen. Love can make us see the ideal picture of a person, the inner core and his unfulfilled potential. I think that love can wake up in another person the best possible ever, as the person who loves sees that and due to the light which love radiates, brings this potential to awake and to grow like a seed which was packed in the cellar for years and then taken out into the garden into good ground exposed to sunlight and rain and warmth.
We only believe that love is blind when we then also discover in our daily life that this person does not yet live up to his or her inner potential in all its aspects and some then get frustrated and impatient, expecting too much too soon. What happens then is that people when suddenly experiencing the other persons weaknesses, believe they were blind to see them. And how we know , a shining light can blind us for the darkness. If we loose this love we but cannot radiate any more light and suddenly only see the shadows. So it is actually the loss of love which makes us blind.

Love is not blind. It never was. It's just taht it has the ability to look beyond few things. It looks beyond the clumsy cultures imposed by the society, it looks beyond caste, race, religion etc. But love has always considered ethics. If you do something unethical in love, it's finally gonna hurt you and hurt real bad.

People say love's blind to hide there unethical actions. Like one falling in love with a maried person would definitely say love is blind because he/she wants the world to understand that it was not his/her fault. Love made him/her do that. That can be agreeable to a few but not to all.

Love has the power to be blindingly brilliant and stunningly toxic.... yet life is larger than love, and it does open eyes and bring back senses one day or the other.

If you decide on your own to go into the love lane, it would elude you.... One normally stumbles into it unknowingly.
