I have several DVD's that I would like to load onto my iPod so that I can watch them while I travel instead of pulling out my computer or DVD player. How do I load the movie onto my iTunes so I can watch it on my iPod? Thanks

I actually used A converter to view videos or full-length movies on my ipod but converter takes a bit of time and quality of video might be decreased. So , I suggest you take a dvd ripper for ipod that supports ipod to rip the selected video to any place on your pc and then open i tunes select add file on videos and add the selected file and your DONE!!

THE Time for a full movie may take long depending on reading speed.and for shorter videos its pretty fast.

You first need a DVD drive in your PC. Then you need software that converts DVD to a file read by your ipod. Some are free downloads that you can convert a sequence of film (or the entire film) to a file that your ipod will read. There are free downloads or you can buy a disc (uasualy about £40) that does the job. It converts it usually about 3 or 4 times quicker than real time. I suggest shopping around on the internet.

I use a converter but it takes so long to convert even a TV episode, much less a movie so I rarely do it. I mostly just trasfer some short videos.
When you read about it, watching video on your iPod seems cool but IMO, it's not that useful. I rarely watch videos on it cause the display's too small and it absorbs a lot of battery power so I'd rather listen to music. It's still cool to know I CAN watch it if and when I want to.
