minty is right. but then there are some so run down you could squat and so get swqaters riughts. rather than buy or rent.
though not technically legal it is done all the time. and there are plenty of run down homes and estates for you to choose from. for example there is an empty house in my street looking like no one one it or gives a crap about it.
if you want the official and legal route (strongly advised) then you should be looking up estate agents in the UK.
have you tried a property hospital (joke)

although you can pick up a run down house for as little as £65000

try buying a house in leeds that is run down, friends of mine had a tiny two bedroom house in windsor that valued at 250,000
they have sold it and have brough a 5 bedrrom house in leeds for 200,000,
so try up that way

try county Durham but the prices r pathetic. me and my bf want a house and cant get one cos to much for 80,000 they r right shitholes. not even enough to get a flat if we want some were u have to rent but then were not going to get anything at the end of it and have wasted all the money. its stupid
