How dare you question the bravery of Americans; How VERY dare you!!
Americans ARE brave. They are by far the bravest soldiers who have ever fought in any war.
Examples of their unquestionable bravery;
Fighting a bunch of poorly equipped sandal wearing A-rabs and turban wearing Taliban with Abraams tanks, F-16 fighter jets, night vision goggles, guided cruise missiles, B52 bombers, helicopter gunships, flak jackets, M15 rifles..etc etc..
Fighting a bunch of equally equipped Vietnamese rice farmers using Jet fighters, agent orange, B52 bombers, napalm bombs, helicopter gunships etc etc..
Winning WWII single handed; especially when nuking 2 Japanese cities.
I can offer more examples of American bravery. In ALL the wars America has fought, the enemy was a yellow bellied coward.
However, if the Japanese had detonated 2 nuclear devices upon American cities, if the Vietnamese gooky rice farmers had napalmed American troops and the dirty A-rabs and Taliban set off a couple thousand cruise missiles, had the odd F-16 or helicopter gunship to hand, they too would be as brave as the heroes who come from the land of the brave and free.

You're reporting what you read, eh? I have a book about batman....want to read it, too?
If I walk into a vegetarian restaurant and take a poll about hunting, what kind of results would I get? Morons who take stock in the "polls" reported by the liberal leftist extremist media are just that....morons.
The United States is not full of cowards. The rest of the world sees what the liberal leftist media reports. They hate the United States and report the opinions of only a small fraction of Americans. Most of us would fight like wild banshees to defend our country.
As far as not traveling throughout the world.....why? I am not knocking those who want to...more power to them. I personally have no desire whatsoever to leave the U.S.

I have never heard anyone suggest the Americans are cowards, there is a bit too much Yank bashing on this Q&A, I cant see the point myself, I have only been to the states once, but I found them to be quite pleasent (Las Vegas) give them some slack.

I don't believe the American people are cowards any more than any other nations people are cowards. They live in a vast country and have plenty of resorts of their own to visit. Plus they have fewer Holidays than the rest of the industrialised world(i believe just 2 weeks) apart from what we in the UK call bank holidays.

We're not cowards! It's very dangerous for Americans traveling outside of the States these days and some of us just don't think its worth the risk.

Americans are no more cowards than anyone else. For the most part they are too fond of themselves and proud of violence. Look at their heroes -- Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, all the people that go to war, Colonel North. You see what I mean?

Americans arent afraid of anything. Which is why all other countries just talk s*** while we back it up with action. Americans dont travel because we have no need to. America is so diverse. being the 3rd largest country in the world and have such a diversive number of places... why travel when we can stay in our own country and experience millions of things. We dont need to experience other cultures abroad because we have them here already. Millions of ppl from hundreds of countries immigrate here.

American strength and courage is unmatched.
Up until this month, a passport was not necessary for travel to most nations as an American. This nation is more diverse than any in history, we are not scared of differences in the least.
We were 3,000 miles to the East and 7,000 miles to the west from any place that required one.
I challenge you to a duel.

Don't lump all Americans into the coward category. If you read your history books you will find out that since the inception of the U.S. we have helped other countries to fight tyranny. All of our soldiers that have fought and died on foriegn soil are not cowards. That is like saying that whatever country you are from are all queers.I'm sure it is'nt true.it is the liberal ways of the U.S. that is hurting our country, instead of being united in the fight against terror, the U.S. is divided, but never forget the U.S. motto"Don't tread on me",there are alot of Americans that feel very strongly about this war.I'd be careful who you call a coward. It may come back to bite you.
