The only thing I can offer is empathy. I have a sister just like that! You can't even hurt their feelings to make them leave you alone. I enlisted the help of my daughter who's profession involves mental health. She said that my sister has Histronic (sp) Personality Disorder which is difficult to treat. The reason being everything revolves around their lives. No one else is important. If you tell them you stubbed your toe, their story about their toe will be much more dramatic, if you tell her you just need time to rest with no one around, it won't even occur to her that it includes her as well. The more you try to get her out of your life, the stronger she comes back at you to be there. Again, my sincere empathy to you and hope you get some answers here, I'll be looking too! oH, another sad point about her condition is therapists have found it a personality disorder that is hard to treat because they refuse to see something they may bedoing is not sociably acceptable.

Hi There and first of all CONGRATS on having a baby!!! It seems that you do indeed have your hands full witht hat and having to deal with your own personal problems. With any relationship I think that you have to open and honest with the other person. If you don't tell them how you feel, they may not realize and you could end up blowing up on them one day and not having them in your life at all. This friend may be sensitive and hard to talk to but dealing with them face on is what I would suggest so that you can know that you did what you could to resolve the problems you have with them. If this person is a true friend, they will understand. I have had friends confront me about issues that they had, and I have done the same and in the long run it made us closer and our relationship become stronger. If talking to her doesn't work than you have to sit down and put things in order. You, your baby and your family should come first, so if they don't realize this then maybe you will have to make the choice to limit the phone calls so you can focus on those things. Good Luck!

Tell her Ur life raft is full and u cant take on anymore at this time.
Suggest she talk to her clergy or a councilor, look at ur caller I D before u answer ur phone, choose whether u want to listen to her complaining, or to take care of u r self and ur baby. Y ou have the power to make the choice.

Get rid of her, you have problems of your own.
She sound like a person who only cares for her own self and wants attention. Avoid her at all cause.
Change your phone number, sent a mutual friend to talk to her and tell her to pipe down or get a personal protection order against her ( may be drastic but necessary). You have to think of your health and safety ( she sound dangerous too)
Good Luck

dear friend, it is very difficult to annoy a person who likes or have some interest in you, but as you explain it is really horrible and it is better to be away from her for some time, and whenever she calls you, it is better not to answer and try to make her friend with some other one of your friend WHO doesn;r know her, so finally I want to say being far away from her is the only way to save yourself without hurting her

You have heard of the saying...you have to be cruel to be nice? Shes just being selfish, looking for attention and your the only one that gives her that. You have a child, and it needs all your attention!...if your friend cant deal with this...tell her to f.... off and get a life!

Well, you obviously put yourself in the position (somewhere in your life) where you actually could listen to everything she has to say. You need to tell her the truth if you want to be free. To not be insensitive, it's up to the words you decide.

She must like you. She may be calling to talk to you. So you are not lonely.
If you do not have time to chat , tell her you are busy, call later please.
Since you have AD, it is better you ask her over from time to time to help you with the baby.
She will help for sure. Is she single?
She may be anxious for you.
