I mean really, what accomplishments does she have other than being able to say that her husband was Bill Clinton?

You've got that right. She has flip-flopped on just about every issue imaginable. Did you hear what she said the other day? She voted in favor of the war but the president misused her vote. That is so lame

I don't know what Hillary Clinton may or not think, but I do not believe she is snookering anyone. Contrary to all the sheep talk that gets bandied around these days, the American people actually tend to be very shrewd about picking their leaders. Often making the right choice at the right time in history. As for accomplishments I am not sure what people actually consider Presidential experience. I have no doubt that Hillary Clinton is a strong capable woman. I will not vote for her because I have a very defined political difference of opinion, but I do not say she is not qualified. Hillary has one huge problem, call it a character flaw if you like. This is the fact that she does not come off as likable and when challenged on any issue she steadily becomes more shrill. This failing is a major liability in presidential politics and will become more evident as the political season advances towards the primaries. Frankly I will be completely shocked if she gets the nomination, but we shall see.

thomas e: I just saw Hillary on the news giving the quote you are referring to. I think she entered John Kerry land. I don't know why politicians think that words don't matter, but it's their greatest shortcoming in general. Words do matter and people have long memories for these things.

I don't know what snookering is--but I don't think it's a good time for her to run for president. If she thinks she will win, just because people are not happy with Bush, I don't think it's enough to get her elected. It's not the time for a woman president.
It would be nice to have a woman in office someday. But not now--and not her.
