She also wants to go on a vac. for 10 days, but i cant afford it cause we just had a month long vacation in Europe.I understand that this day is very special to her and she is doing this to make me happy, but what do i say to my employer.. Also i cant even afford one cause the previous one has drained almost all my savings.I tried to tell her all this, but she is not ready to listen and is throwing tantrums saying that i dont love her. Now we are not on talking terms and i really want her to understand me cause i love her a lot and i dont want her to be sad ....... please help!

tell her that you love her very much, but that you can also understand how she feels! tell her that you cant affored it! and that if she wants to come see you then she can pay for it! and that you can't leave to go on a vacation but that she may stay and visit you instead! that might make her happy!

Simply explain to her exactly what you just wrote on here.....you had a months vacation, as is customary in Europe, you can not take off anymore time, and money is tight after this vacation....please understand, and if she still wants to go there, tell her you will be very happy to see her, and will spend all your free time with her, but unfortunately, you cannot take another vacation....if she really loves you, she'll understand, if she doesn't. that is your warning sign that perhaps you are going in over your head. If she can't compromise now, how do you think she will be once married? Good Luck, hope she understands for your sake.

Girlfriends and logic? Most of the times, that amounts to a contradiction of terms. Of course, there are many exceptional cases, and surely those exceptional cases, must be the envy of many a less fortunate eye. To each one, his/her own sorrow and joy.

she's being a baby. if you can't afford it, tell her to pay. if she can't see it your way, send her packing. tantrums are for 3 yr olds, not grown women. tell her to grow up...better yet, put her on, so i can tell her.

let her sulk. she'll be fine, or she'll be gone! either way, you're better off.

She sounds like she's not worth it. Time to leave her and find an intelligent woman.

If she loves you she should understand.
