After 2005-06 Bengal are in the Final of Ranji Trophy for 2006-2007 also. Still they have only Sourav in the national side. Still people dont know profiles of Ranadeb Bose (Highest wicket taker in Ranji this year), Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Manoj Tewari etc.

hi Soumya !!

couldn't agree any better !!
The Bengal team is very well balanced and the team management (paras mambrey-deep dasgupta) rocks!!even physio krishna makes a difference!!
statistics speak for themselves and the fact that bengal has qualified for the second consecutive time for the ranji final goes a long way in defining bengal's strength!!
but as i always say:when the mumbaikar lobby gets working everything else takes a back seat!!
Ajit Agarkar is the adopted son of indian cricket:performance or no performance ajit has to be there:ridiculous !!
what is ramesh powar doing in a team which speaks of youth power???
surely Abhisekh Jhunjhunwala and Manoj Tewari should come into the national team having performed so well this season with the bat and there inclusion will be a bonus coz they can bowl well too.Manoj's 151 was very very crucial and at a time when bengal needed it!!hope the selection committee can see reason now.
surprisingly Rono on fire is not in the team:having demolished karnataka and sending them for a toss doesn't he deserve better treatment??isn't the subcontinent known primarily for spin attack in need of more Ronos??it's high time we look at national interest !!
even Maco(shibshankar pal) was picked but not included in the eleven !!
but dadi is sooo great that they cannot keep him out for long:they tried to throw him out but the maharaja came back big !!
dadi will be the torch bearer and we will soon find the bengal players in their deserved place with due respect!!

cheers and god bless:-)
