You should be paid the number of hours you have worked, regardless of whether it is only a day or three days.
If you quit the job willingly, then you are not entitled to any compensation. Even if you were asked to leave by your company, you will not be expecting compensation unlike full-time staff.

Yes you should be compensated for the time worked. You also
need to practice work ethics and give a 2 weeks notice. This could come back to haunt you in future job sarches.

If you mean compensation in that you worked for so many hours, then yes, you should be paid for every hour you worked regardless of why you quit. Unemployment benefits, no, I don't think so.

. Uh hell yes! I don't care if you worked for 10 min, by law you are entitled to compensation. (U.S. law). I once quit a job after three days. They sent me my check alright.
