no, of course it's not. haven't you seen all the ads for "holiday skin" tanning lotions? why do you think there are hundreds of leathery fifty-something year-olds out there? it's because of the sunbed and other tanning revolutionaries!you're lucky to have dark skin naturally, its what everyone wants!

No it isn't, but dark skin people get teased about it more by lighter skinned blacks!! I am quite dark and I used to get called names lighter black people. Its not about being uglier though, I never got called ugly for it. :)

Ilove dark skin. But here in Thailand they look down on it. So girls put on white make-up.
On the beach you see White Guys laying in the Sun whilst their Girl friends huddle in the shade.
Sad innit?

definitely not a lot of us would give up our limbs for olive skin i personally think its beautiful a few of my family have olive skin and i feel as though i missed out, the original welsh people were darker skinned, if you are olive or tanned you wouldnt even get racial remarks either, and depending on where you where in uk for black skin personally where i live everyone gets on with everyone

No, not at all, ignore any jealous fool that says it is, I would much rather be my warm olive skinned colour then a pasty, frightening white.
