My parests left me in charge of sisiter yestrday i am 15and she is 5 she made me mad. they havenot seen it yet but i hit her with a wood spoon on her back. i told her to tell if she wanted me to hit her again. she didnot tell. how can i make her not tell for sure and not be scared of me. hit her again?

i love kids & i wouldnt do such a thing! You coud've just waited for your parents & let them handle her behavior not through violence....:( & scaring her is not the best solution at all....Tell your parents the truth & see a counselor for your behavior....
If you do not do anything about your anger, it will only worsen in the future....Plus the truth will prevail might as well confess...

Five years old kid is such a smart and sensitive creature. And you cannot keep on threatening her not to tell. She will grow up disrespecting and fearing from you. This problem can be resolved once and fro ever. First ask for her forgiveness. Say I’m sorry to her. She will appreciate that. And then give her the very spoon you used in hitting her. Give her your back and ask her to hit u back. This will make u equal and on the long run, she will respect you. And that hit back will keep reminding you not to lose your temper with your baby sister ever again. You should be the one how is protecting her from any evil not source for her fear and insecure feelings.

You are a sorry piece of crap. Hitting a 5 year old, then making threats to keep her mouth shut. Your a terrible person and I hope the parents finds out and kicks you butt all the way to the police station. People like you are such Big Cowards, always picks on someone that cannot defend them self. I hope soon that you get exactly what you deserve, like charges of assault with a weapon, abuse of a child and you get locked up until you to old to tie your own shoes.

I hope your not serious! That is crazy and you should NEVER hit anyone! Especially someone little and innocent as a five year old. I DON"T think you should hit her ever again! I also think that you should sit down and confess what you did to your parents and apologize to your sister for what you did. I do know that sometimes younger siblings can make you angry but violence isn't a way to deal with it! You need tot talk to someone and deal with what you did and maybe look into controling your angry and dealing with it in other ways!

Your 15 you should know better. She's so tiny you could seriously hurt her. What the heck is wrong with you? You need to tell your parents that you don't want to babysit anymore. It scares me to think of what might happen if you do. If you saw your parents do the same thing to your little sister wouldn't you want to help her. As her big brother you need to protect her from harm, she looks up to you. You should be ashamed of yourself for being the one that is hurting her. Never ever do it again!!!

for one thing you shouldn't have hot your sister with a wooden spoon like that and 2 threaten her if she told you would hit her again 3 your parents will see the brusie on there own and if she acts fearful in how she got it there gonna know you did it

Talk to your sister about what you did and the emotions you were feeling at the time. And make it clear to her that you will not do it again.

Do your parents hit you or something? Where did you learn to do that?
First of all....you deserve to be in trouble for doing that. So let her tell your parents....or go tell your parents yourself..
If your parents play the same game of hitting, then they deserve to be in trouble too and you can call Child Protective Services or talk to your highschool counselor.

what all the idiot's above have said is totally ridiculous...they were probably rewarded for bad behavior with a credit card and hugs and kisses...

but someone said you should tell your parents about it, and I think that is true too, you should sit down and explained what happened to your parents and as you do, twist your own nipples to show that you are hurt about what happened and maybe touch yourself in front of them to show that you understand

You should not of hit her to begin with.As long as you hit and threaten her she will only get more scared of you.You really need to talk to a counselor about the issue.
