My mate reckons the winner got a £million to keep. I thought celebs get to donate money to charity of their choice cuz most of em already millionaires??

the indian girl did won couple of millions but the biggest credit for her is she won people's attention and trust for her career in the rest of her acting life.

The winner of celebrity big brother 2007 (Shilpa Shetty) does not actually receive a prize for winning. Each celebrity earns a fee set before the show for participating, with Shilpa's fee estimated to be at around £367,500

They already got paid 20,000 to go on it and they win half a million and that gets donated to a charity of their choice

it used to be that the winner won money that was donated to a charity of their choice. I don't know when it changed and they began to pay them a fee. I expect Shilpa's donation to charity will go to the Jade Goody trip to India fund

They get paid a cirtain amount before they go in something like 50,000 But when they win i think the prise money is again something like 50,000 but this goes to charity... Tthe lesser celebs get about 10 - 15 grand...

They agree a fee plus an amount for charity. They get that as long as they stay to the end. I don't think there is a penalty if they don't win.

When they win they give the money to charity of the choice. so basicaly they dont keep the money. lol :)
