I want to work from home and choose my own hours as much as possible. I don't want to pay money to work. Is there anything like that out there?

Well, one thing I like to do to make extra money is to sell things on eBay. You can make a killing selling name brand clothes. Especially for little kids. You can shop onlline at all the major brands, Gymboree, OldNavy, GAP, Limited, etc. But only buy items that are on clearance. What you have a good stock you can sell them in lots, by size, and charge twice what you paid for them. Also, if you like to shop, you can keep an eye out for great discounts in the malls that can be resold online. It does take some effort and a bit of discipline. But it can be very profitable.

As a suggestion to you if you want to test the waters, go and clean out your closet and the closets of every one in the house. Pull out all the things you know for sure will never be worn again, but are in excellent condition. Sell these and see how it goes... I will say that name brands sell the best, but alot of people will buy clothes that are in really good condition, especially for kids, even if they are not name brand.

One thing, you do have to spend a little money to make money. Maybe consider spending the money to become a medical transcriptionist. They totally choose their own hours, I think school is less than a year. My friend's mom does this by receiving recorded notes from the doctor via email. He records his notes onto a sound device and emails it to her. She listens and then types it up and emails it back. She did this while visiting her daughter in Italy. Very cool job if you ask me.

Many many companies allow some workers to work from home. Most of the people at my office do it. But to get work like that, you have to have good, marketable skills. And you will still have to work during normal business hours because you will have to work with other people.

Medical billing jobs often let you work at home but the work is tedious. Same thing for computer programing. Plus there are 100 Malaysian and Indian programmers for ever American trained one, and they are willing to work at any rate of pay.

You can work thru Internet but again the time of trading is not what you want to choose.
You can buy and sell stocks but you need experience and money.
Which time zone are you in, if US then you have perfect timing to do trading.
Any way it is kinda of boring after some times, you need to go out and meet people. More interesting!!!
