if you cut them in half are both halfs alive? and would they sucreet a form of their blood while in transformation?

They secrete a kind of blood. Both halves do survive if cut in half. I think this is because they don't have brains.

According to Wikipedia: "Earthworms have the facility to replace or replicate lost segments, but this ability varies between species and depends on the extent of the damage."

I've never seen one bleed. But there is like a brownish yellow puss that comes out of them.

worms dot have a heart and blood like people they are a simpler organism
