It's ok to install electrical heating of the correct type in a bathroom, but it must be installed by a qualified electrician and certified to Part P. It must only be installed in Zone 3 of the bathroom which is basically 600mm beyond the edge of the bath, and 3.0m above. Should be IPX4/and RCD protected in Zones 1/2 if no other possible location.
I suggest that you seek advice from a professional.

Why the heck would you want to install either?
I rented a holiday cottage over new year and had a coin op. electric meter in it. It had a bar heater in the lounge and a fan heater in the bathroom and apart from the fact that they guzzled electricity they were hopelessly inefficient and so the flat was FREEZING!!! You have to stand almost on top of them to feel anything!

I don't know about a wall electric fan but, if the bar heater is gas operated it is illegal if it is not vented to the outside of the building.

no it is not wrong of illegal to put a electric fan or heater in the bathroom. you can buy all kinds of electric heaters for the wall at home depot, sears, eBay and most hardware stores. some just plug into an ordinary electric outlet .they use a gfi plug, for safety reasons. they are not very energy efficient, but ok for short term use, such as a bathroom if u are going to install a hard wired heater then u have to have a professional install it for it to become legal the ones that just plug into your outlet are legal, or they would not be able to sell them.

You can fit a bar heater, but it has to be fitted with a pull switch and make sure you fit the recommende fuse in the fuse box for it.

Not if it is correctly installed by an electrician who is Part P registered. Otherwise yes it is illegal.
