rock - maybe today the most popular music in rock music is emo, this music is so popular, everyone say and talk about this music, this music so attractive to many people because of their music make people fresh in some way. Their root is still the punk rock music, mix with some modern sound in their riff and add some cool clothes and some good attitude.

hard rock - this music is never die, but nowadays not many major label interesting to them again, not like in the old days, especially in usa, so then many hard rock bands turn their head to europe territories which still believe that they are still awesome to get the contract. Many hard rock bands sign contract to any independent label in europe. But they are not popular now.

metal rock - Metal music have always so interesting to look, this music is forever, never ever die, many records label small or big keep releases the albums of many underground bands. In my opinion their market get bigger and and bigger, cause the technology nowaday help them to do that. so many metal music lover can be reached easier. This kind of music always in their position, never get so very popular, but they are always exist and keep rockin' the world.

,jazz - this music seem so stable in the world of music, but this music keep releases many album by any major label in this world. They keep rolling in music industry but never get so popular also. But their flame always burn.

and any other? Maybe Hip hop music, this music is really awesome, they always have new generation. They are so popular right now, the artists get rich and also the producer, and many people really love their music. If we see the top 100 artists of the world, then there must be so many hip hop artists there. Cool.
