From talking to women, and seeing the effects that it has on their physique the answer would be:

Heels make the feet look sexy, and obviously elevate their height. However, the additional benefit of heels is that it does something to their posture that makes their buttocks protrude outward in a more sexually alluring manner. So a woman who might not have a well-developed derriere might give the illusion of a sexy posterior with heels. Also it gives the illusion of extra long legs, thus giving them a slimming streamline effect. In essence, next to the push bra (miracle bra or wonder bra), high heels are probably the most deceptive aspect of a woman’s ensemble.

If a woman ever claims that men are the biggest liars, you can tell them they are full of it. A man at least looks the same getting out of bed as he does when he is out and about during his time in the nightlife. He at least has to open his mouth to lie. Women, with all their different garments and gizmos that change the shape and shade of their various body parts, lies before they even open their mouth.

Fashion, Women attract to look than durability while men looks durability price brand lots. wearing high heels is very painful if you walk and stand lot, I did the same mistake when I bought a pair of shoes which were looks very good but heels were bit high then I actual wear, my experience was very bad and painful with those shoes, Everyday when I came to my office my legs started paining and I felt pain in my back too. That why I don't wear high heels shoes. I don't why women can wear high heels amazing.

-D, partly anyway : if you go to a party and are wearing a partydress, wearing flat shoes is a no-go, it just won't look nice.

Unfortunately I always have to settle for shoes with low heels, cuz when I wear high heels, I can't walk nor stand anymore after having them on for more than half an hour. (LOL, unless of course I sit down all the time)

d and b lol I think that high heels highlight my legs, they look longer and more defined, but I only wear them when I really want to make an impression. ( imagine a tall girl with great legs, knee length skirt and a russian accent ) lol I sometimes get what I want this way. Shameful yes useful defineatly.

I suppose that for some women it is the increase in height.

More importantly, high heels, if worn properly, alters your posture and gait. It is these alterations (not the feet) that look more sexy. For example, they push your breasts forward and your bottom back.

And, if you choose them carefully, they are very comfortable to wear

It is an optical illusion of course, but they seem to extend the length of a woman's legs, thus giving her a taller appearance. Everything doesn't have to be about sex. (This is coming from a short person).
