Sub Concious Mind - Is it local or universal, what is it's scope of control?

I have been reading that it is a mechanism which controls not only the body and health, but even creates situations and produces wealth, etc.

The brain is quite complex. It has many areas that perform different functions. A LOT of different kinds of thinking is going on at the same time. One of the limitations of the human brain is that it can focus on only one area of thought at one time. Example, you are at a party and talking with a friend. Suddenly, you hear your name mentioned by someone else across the room. Your attention shifts from your friend to hear what they are saying about you. For several moments, then, you remember nothing the friend in front of you was saying, even though he continued speaking only inches from your face!

Subconscious thought is all the thinking you aren't focusing on in conscious attention. This is all good thought, but you're not aware of it at the time. For example, you could be listening to someone trying to make a point, and you get the feeling that he is lying to you. Why? A part of your brain is comparing his mannerisms with past experience and concluding that his manner is untrustworthy.If you're wise, you'll consider and check out this intuition. Your feelings operate constantly, but you don't always focus on them...they are operating then, at a subconscious level. You can decide to do so at any time...raising them to a conscious level. In other words, you can CONTROL all this by consciously shifting your attention.

You are very close to the true nature of the sub-conscious Mind. It controls all the automatic functions of our body and never ask why. What ever you believe sub-consciously becomes so in your life. That is why hypnosis works. You are putting the conscious mind to sleep and directing the Sub-conscious mind. I believe that it is man's (and Women's) connection to God or the (Holy Ghost). That is why the unforgivable sin is damnation of the Holy Ghost, because you are saying that there is no connection between God and Man! Christ said "As a man thinketh so is he." That is so true. What ever you believe(sub-consciously) will manifest itself in reality, but you can't fake it!
