we've been married for 15 years and in our previous conversations early in our relationship we pretty much covered everything: our previous marriages, and his girlfriends, ect., ...until yesterday, when my husband told me that he also had sex with one woman whose name came up a few times during those early years. He also told me that she was a local salesperson that used to come by frequently and occasionally after work he would go to her house for sex. It was not a serious relationship and he explained many times that it was before we met, but why do I remember her name come up after we started living together. Why didn't he mentioned this before? He had plenty of opportunity during our discussions thru the years?

Sounds like there was some "overlap" - perhaps he was still finishing up with her when you were coming into the picture.

Your husband is the best person to answer this questiong, Maybe on the other had, he did not want to hurt you, or he was just protecting you, maybe he knew you would react this way

I think he had something to hide, He may have just broken it off with her, and wanted to "come clean" in a twisted sort of way.

if the name sounds familar then maybe you might have met the girl before. if they were toghter before you and your husband met then i wouldn't give it much thought. talk to him and explain how you feel and get to the root of the problem.
