Unfortunately No it s not better.....and probably will not get better until such time that Bush is out of office.
He has made it clear that this war will go on to his successor....I do not for one minute support Hillary Clinton as the next President (Even though I am a Democrat) but I do agree with her when she says that when Bush says that this war will be left for the next President is the most irresponsible thing for him to do....this is and still is his agenda/war and he started it and he should finish it!
But he will not do that....he started this as a coward and it and he will leave the mess as a coward and let someone else clean up his mess so he can claim that if they had stayed the course he had in place it would have worked.

Unfortunately war kills people, the war started because of terrorism, wouldn't it be nice if they could use the result of a chess game between the two countries to get a result ?

I can't say it is better now than during Sadam's rule, but one thing is very clear, Iraq was able to free themselves from the tyranny of Saddam. It is the people of Iraq who are at fault for the continuing disunity in their country. They are called Muslims but they don't agree or unite to rebuilt their very beautiful country. The Iraquis have only one religion "ISLAM", but they don't follow the teaching of their prphet. Their PRIDE AND THEIR SENSE OF VENGEANCE prevail that is why killings continue to be the problem and the stumbling block to make Iraq great again minus Saddam.

Its elected leader also killed hundreds of thousands and if you voted against him you "disappeared". We shouldn't have gone in there, but you cannot blame the US that they can't go a day without killing dozens. Innocents die and it sucks, so I just hope this ends, because we killed a tyrant and replaced him with anarchy.

Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. Saddam forced the ailing al-Bakr to resign on July 16, 1979, and formally assumed the presidency. He was not "elected".
And, we didn't hang Saddam, the Iraqi government did.
Educate yourself.
...and learn how to spell.
