Do you ever wonder what the point is? I'm not talking in a suicidal way, I mean - are we supposed to be partnered and procreate to find deep real happiness, or can it be found in other ways?

I think we all naturally think this way sometimes. I beleive that procreation and partnering up arent neccessarily the be all and end all. Look at things some people can do for the world without being in love Mother teresa for example helped a lot of hungry poor people. She didn't need a hubby. She got a lot of joy out of helping people.

No. I am in control and lead life where I want it to go. Real happiness can be found. It isn't just a cycle of birth and dying. There IS more to life and it can be found in satisfying relationships, a search for a higher power and understanding it, and in treating others well.

In the beatitudes, Jesus said "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need."

I think having a partner is wonderful..and if you want and can have kids great...if none of this is of interest to you watch the signs of life and see where they take you and walk the journey and enjoy what comes your way!
