why have you waited three months anyway ...probably need to restore drive with software that came with it ...if not then start at place you bought computer , no luck there then go to manufacturers homepage and get info on how to message them or correspond most have a toll free number

If it is a new computer (Still under warranty) contact Compaq or the outlet who sold you the computer.
If it is not under warranty use a computer forum to post your question in. That is the easiest, with out spending money in a computer shop like BestBuy or CompUSA.

depending on the time you have had the system for warentee, call the place you bought it and also the computer paper work will have information and a phone number to call for this kind of problem...good luck..

If it is under warranty you can directly contact the Hp service service provider in you local state and if it is not under warranty you can get repaired with the local service provider
