USA and Russia are always head on against each other but not in actual warfare. USA is against Iran because it is being supported by Russia.

No it is worse than that. Iran is the focus point and has been since the coup of the Shah. And it is not just Iran it is Iran and 21 Arab Countries backed by Russia and whoever joins them. Watch the board see who the players are? Iran attacks Israel through Hezbollah and Lebanon? That is an indirect attack on America and ommiting the bigotry in this country about the Jewish people are eyes are slowly opening to see what the government could not tell us because we are bigots but that we are very dependent on Israel and without them in place and as an Ally we will go to WW III for sure. So yes and no, the only thing we can pray for is that China keeps her word? Yep between a rock and a hard place for sure. Good Luck,

The US-Iranian conflict began in 1979 when Khoemeni ordered the storming of the US embassy and held our citizens as hostages for 444 days. Several of the hostages claim that Ahmadinejad was one of the captors. Russia has always had huge multibillion dollar contracts with Iran, including military hardware and aid in construction of their nuclear program. Anytime Russia has an opportunity to stunt the US or indirectly affect our standing in the Middle East, or anywhere else in the world, they will have their nose behind it all. Putin is a czarlike leader and will maintain close ties with Iran despite whatever happens vs the US. It will also happen despite how they have treated Afghans in the 70' to 80's, killing millions, and despite their war with Chechnya. Politics makes strange bedfellows. I can potentially see the US & Russia in a future military conflict, either by chance or accident or planned attacks.

Ubsolutely not! Iran has two short term objects in the aerea;a weak Irak with a subsequent war or coersion(whichever is more convenient)at a later stage for the domination of the shat-el-Arab
and not only, and the nutrualization(not destruction)of Israel. The building of nuclear deterence is mainly a defence measure against US probable interference against its plans.
Putin may or may not have in his long term plans indirect confrontation with USA,but his first concern at present(as it is shown in recent years with the oil companies) is to ease and later eradicate foreign influence in his country as it is manifested in the financial field, and then to revaluate Russia's position in the International Chess Board;then mr Putin can think about competition(indirect)with United States although, absurd as it sounds to the US citizens,Russia is more like their natural ally rather than their enemy;competitor in all fields yes, enemy no,natural ally emphatically yes especially where their common interests-and they are many-are concerned.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit with George Hitler Bush as commander in chief of the USA in charge. I see a world war coming up soon with tensions in Iran, North Korea, and now China has sent a message that they can destroy the USA satellites which the USA relies on to fight all wars and if a country were to hit the USA satellites we would be helpless so I hope we don't get stupid and start wars we can't handle.

I would have to say yes, if you look at the strategic and geographic importance of Iran relative to Russia. In addition Russia is heavily involved in Iran's nuclear power industry and has also armed Iran with sophisticated weaponry.

No. Completely different because this relates to nuclear testing, and Iran is doing it without the approval of other countries. The US and Iran are in a conflict because one country believes that they can do whatever they want while the other believes that Iran should be respectful of other nations and their concerns. This also connects to North Korea.

I don't think so. The conflict between the US & Iran is about Iran's buildup (or threat of buildup) in the face of growing US aggression in the region.
