No he's not stupid.... you don't live life until you take chances... this could be the best thing that has ever happened to him.... and he has a better chance of having a succesful relationship with a women from another country than america

I think it's stupid. You should spend sometime offline with the person you met online, before you decide to get married and leave everything else behind. He should just go there for vacation first.

Its not stupid at all...i moved from New South Wales to Melbourne to be with someone i met off the net!! and we are together and happy as ever!!

Just let him go - see for himself! He may find love he may not - but he will never know if he doesnt go!

He is not stupid.
He should at least keep his options open to return if he does not find what he expected.
You are talking of a man I presume. It is a man's world after all. They never have anything to lose.

He's not stupid for going after something he believes in; maybe he really will be happier there. If not, he'll have to choose another course of action.

im not sure either .... :S ...love is a strange blinding thing i guess ? But it will be tough if he says he's gonna married her when he fly over ..coz they might not even suit each other when face to face ...or seen each other flaws n such ...
But gd luck to him .
