That depends what you do PC if I am watching a movie then I prefer no light. If I am doing some work on PC then definitely there should be some light there in the room.

Backyard
Kitchen
Living Room
Bedroom
Bathroom
Motion Sensor in Driveway
Is that bad?
I just feel more comfortable with lights on in the house. Can't cost that much. I "conserved" a lot of electricity (and water) by not having kids.

Yes. Definately. I feel safer with lights on at night anyway, but it is better for your eyes to have at least a desklamp on as well.

Yes I have several lamps on in the living room where my computer is. It eases the eye strain.

Yes. I need light to see the keyboard. The monitor is not bright enough to illuminate things enough for me.
