It worked earlier today and I had recently changed some security settings but even after turning off all the settings I was still restricted access. It gives me the error shareddocs is not accessible, you might not have permission etc etc. I am guessing it is something pretty basic that I have overlooked.

I have unplugged it and replugged it. I have also turned off all firewalls and security and have had no luck.

Unplug it and plug it back in...that fixes most of my router problems.

do a power down reset of router leave off for about 2 minutes or longer if time is an option. If problem does not clear up check your settings again to be sure you have changed all back to previous settings. It sounds like you have deleted the share options for accessing and even though you restored previous settings the old information has been changed.or removed.

also check the firewall settings
