gone with someone you met online? I hear of marriages, babies, murders, abductions...... Have you ever had a ery positive outcome, or a very negative outcome? Please explain.

i have met some very nice people online. There's one in particular that i would like to meet in person..... we seem to have a lot in common. :)

My neice got married through the internet - but she was able to have the person checked out by different sources to see if he was legit.
i also have a good friend who met her husband through an online dating service and they are really happy - but again she was able to verify that the guy was okay through mutual friends.
I guess what scares me most about meeting on the internet - is the inside writings that a person puts out there are usually not as the real person.
When i want a little excitement in our marriage I have an Internet affair with my husband online - man it would be great if he was the same person in real time.

I met a woman and we talked for a long time. then I did something I thought I would never do, I jumped on a plane and met her in person. Not even in the same country so I did take a risk and to this day it was the best thing that has ever happened to me so far. I travelled 1800 miles and found the one person in this world I was meant to truly be with. So far it has been an amazing journey.

Once I met a person who lived around the corner from me, we had the same things in common and wound up going out a couple of times. Very nice! we talk on the phone constantly.

I have dated a couple of guys I met on line. They were nice. Not marriage material or anything. I have some really good friends that I first met on line as well. I have never had any really bad experiences.

um i actually talked to this guy i met on myspace for a year and a half every single day and we finally decided to meet.... he is one of my best friends now and i wouldnt trade him for the world :D i was always really scared to meet people online but i thought after a year and a half i had to meet this guy....but i mean there r alot of phonys out there and u have to b careful

well 1 of them actually fell inluv w/me & now he's asking 4 marriage... LOL..
