Colbert doesn't care. He doesn't even understand hockey. When he was speaking with the General's coach, he mistook two of the player's last names as if they were one person. The Generals did this great PR gamble and called him in.

He doesn't know squat about hockey nor does he care. The only reason why he's talking about it is because he's named after one of the mascots. Good for PR promotions though for the league.
