There is an island in the south carribean reserved for the left ones, it is called "The Island of Lost Left Socks", there is farm in the midwest for the right socks with lots of room to run and play, it is called "Stinky Doc's Sock Farm"

I have a good answer to this one! Personally... and only recently, I've found that our socks have been falling out of the dryer when I unload them and they fall to the left side of the machine into a spot where I can't see or reach! Evil huh? We have a washer dryer type where the washer is on the bottom and the dryer is right on top of it. Front loads. Evil little things.

Sometimes socks get stuck to your bedding or clothing. When storing your socks, safety pin them together so they won't get lost. Keep them in a designated sock drawer.

Cos they are small pieces of clothing and we don`t pay too much attention to them! My socks are usually on the table where I eat, under the bed (they slip off during the night), under the sofa, the dog has burried them on the garden, my cat plays with them, or stuck on the walls of my washing machine!

i always wondered if there was a sock monster...maybe cookie monster just doesn't live in the closet...girl this is a good question..mine are always MIA too...and never find a pair that is the same sometimes...

I suspect my girl cat is stealing my left socks. She probably has a secret room somewhere around the house... OMG what if she's eating them? That explains the gigantic hairballs I'm finding.

They turn into dust bunnies under the bed. (You should have known that.) I always buy socks of the same color, so that I am not out a whole pair when one goes missing.

It's them damn sock fairy's I think that they eat them or something They took 1 of my fave sock its all worm and fuzzy.So I am using the other one for bait if I get one While i am holding it for ransom(my sock) I will ask about yours OK??!!LOL!!??

what i do is i have about 15 pair of the exact same sock so i dont have that problem
