if u have a windows operating system by pressing F1 or goto start->help and support.. u will get a window named help and support center.. in that u can find a lot of things like troubleshooting, customizing your computer, internetworking etc.. think u will get a good solution by using this:-)

You always have www.google.com Further more you can read computer magzines like CHIP, DIGIT, PC WORLD where you can find Hand on Work shops which would help you a lot. You can get Archive Versions of these magzines in softcopy from your friends who buy these magzines.
