Not unless her splits are not for cheer leading. Sorry but true. The chances of that happening are more remote that GW Bush getting a 3rd term in office. But ask a Gyne just to be sure as I am not a doctor and can not provide any medical advice.

In actual fact, vigorous exercise will tear a girl's hymen, be it splits, running, or even cycling.
But there's not too much to worry about. In usual cases, there'll be little or some minor bleeding.
But the answers you get here, or on the net should not substitute for Professional Medical Advise.

Did I answer your question?

Its hymen that breaks, i dun even know what hymin is.....As long as she doesn;t accidentally fall on a guy's lap while splitting, it wont break that easily.

Look if your 12 yr old daughter has ever even ridden a bike she has probably already broken her Hymen. Why worry about it. The Hymen is no big deal anyway.

First of all a 12 year old shouldn't be worrying about her hymen! 2nd, doing the splits would not affect it!

why is this a concern of hers? I would be asking what prompted that question. If it is a religious concern, a intact hymen is not proof of virginity, as they can break through normal activity's like horse riding.
Ask your daughter why is she asking this question I say!

Why is a 12 year old concerned about her hymen? If she ever plans on using tampons, it is going to break anyway.
