I started listening to DM in 83' and they are still one of my favorite bands. My husband and I still go see them everytime they come to San Fran. We feel really old and out of place at their concerts now, but we still have a blast! Love Em'

I am glad to see a younger generation appreciating the roots of todays alternative music.

Depeche Mode rocks! Even 25 years after their inception. The idiot who stated that DM is a knockoff of Joy Division is a fool. They're both dark bands, but totally differerent styles. DM totally revoltuionized synth bands (NOT necessarily synth pop). Without DM there would be no Nine Inch Nails for sure.

I think they were incredibly irratating and silly. All of those Joy Division rip off bands get on my nerves. At least Joy Division had real angst. If you're going to whine....you have to kill yourself to have any credibility. Until Robert Smith and Morrisey kill themselves, they are just very very annoying.

The worst part is that I lost my virginity with Violator playing in the background. I NEVER should have had sex with a Depeche Mode fan for my first time. Every time I hear them I think about inadequacy, blood, and frustration.

Love Depeche Mode!! Marilyn Manson liked them enough to remake at least 1(or is it 2?) of their songs. I don't like most old music anyomre, except for D. M.-they're classics:)

I think they are a bunch of geezers who can still rock a 50,000 seater stadium. Martin Gore continues to write brilliant tunes, and Dave Gahan is improving with every song he wrote.

One of the most influential bands to come out of the UK.

I like the atmosphere they have with all the stuff I have heard of them. I like Policy of Truth and Blasphemous Rumors.
