I am not clear as to whether you want the:

1- EXTERNAL IP Address (your wireless device address on the www) , and you can find it by typing following at your browser
http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm

or

2- the INTERNAL IP Address (your wireless device address in your private network ). If you have Windows XP , then you:
a- Go to Start - click
b- Go To Run - click
c- on input line, type CMD and press enter
d- in resulting window, type ipconfig
e- The internal ip address of your wireless router will be in the (DEFAULT GATEWAY ) line
f- The internal ip address of your Laptop / PC will be in the line
(IP Address)

I do not know how knowing the IP Address will solve your problem, but these two techniques will definitely give you the correct ip address
