You can ask a local nursery to special order them for you if they are able to locate some. Otherwise you can locate the seeds and start some in a pot indoors before the spring thaws. They are pretty tough. When it gets warmer outside, they can be spread out in several pots or put somewhere in an herb garden or at the edge of the veggie beds.

if you are lucky your garden center will have the plants and all you do is plant it in the conditions it likes, i never had any luck with lavendar in indiana but here in las vegas it grows great as long as it gets enough water. bloomed in winter, rosemary grows well here too.
