of course it does!!! just think how many young kids want to be like the stars the hear and see on the radio and tv. that is where the idea that if you aren't skinny, beautiful, rich or popular you will never amount ot anything is founded. unfortunately for us this has been around since the begining of time and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes. Just look at what society considers attractive. A couple hundred years ago, pale skin was "most attractive," because it meant the woman didn't work in the fields, and some women actually took small doses of arsenic to make their skin even more pale. A decade or so ago, a deep tan was "most attractive" because lower class workers generally worked inside, and only women with money could lounge on the beach, and so women started baking themselves at tanning salons (and some still do). I wonder what will next be considered attractive?

Yes,it is easier to be a follower than a leader.It takes an open-mind and a lot of gumshin to take on the worlds problems and not be a lemming going off a cliff

it influences everything we do. except when we are in situations we need to use our instincts for survival. i.e. eating another person or hurting someone in self defense.
