You are going to need more pajamas, (like a loose-fitting gown), slippers, shampoo and conditioner, (my hospital did NOT supply those for me), nursing bras, panties, clothes for the baby, a camera, make-up, scarf/ bandana for your hair in case you don't feel like washing it, cards, games/magazines,etc. I had a c-section too. I pray that you'll be fine, but I had complications and ended up having to stay for 9 days, so just be prepared for anything because you just never know! I wish you the BEST! God Bless You!!! =)

Well, forget the pajamas. You will wear hospital gowns for the first 24 hours after surgery. You will have a lot of vaginal bleeding at first and will require frequent changes. You may need just a gown or 2, a robe, slippers, a nursing bra if breastfeeding or a good snug bra if not. You may take whatever toiletries you would like and underwear. The hosp. will provide you with pads. For baby, all you will need is an outfit for pictures and if you like, use the same one for the trip home, a receiving blanket and that's all. The hospital will provide diapers, formula, pacifiers, and anything else needed for baby.

Congrats on the inpending arrival of your bundle of joy! Its so gr8 to have a baby to look forward to.
Regarding what to pack, you don't need much for yourself if your baby bag is ready to go. I'll advice that you pack a night dress/gown with buttons that open in front(if you are planning to breastfeed), instead of jammies, as you will not be able to pull a trouser over your belly after the op. Also pack those disposable panties(lots!) instead of the normal ones with elastic on top, also for reasons stated above. Some hsopitals provide maternity pads for mothers.
You should also take comfort items forself, like your favorite pillow, towel, CDs, books to read, snacks you enjoy, etc..
well, i can't think of anything else right now! All the best with your delivery. I also had a c-section with my little girl, and i'll do it again at the drop of a hat!
Cheers!

Take your own pillow, shampoo and conditioner, books, word puzzles, hard candy, SOCKS!!, a robe...
Your babys babybook, its a great way to start filling it out.
From a website..
A sweater or nightgown – After a shower, you might want to wear something of your own rather than a revealing hospital gown. But be warned: Whatever you wear could end up dirty. You can at least bring a sweater to wear over your hospital gown to keep you warm.
Toiletries – While in the hospital, you'll have help with your baby. Take advantage of that help to take care of yourself. A few simple items such as lotion and mouthwash might make you feel more at home. Have a long shower and wash your hair. Brush your teeth and cover yourself in lotion. Put on deodorant to feel fresh. It's amazing how much better you'll feel when you're clean.
Sanitary napkins – The hospital will provide you with sanitary napkins, but you might want to pack your own. Many hospitals still supply bulky pads that require belts. Buy something comfortable and designed to handle very heavy flow.
A pillow and blanket for Dad – If your partner wants to stay overnight, he'll likely have a recliner or cot to sleep on, but linens are hard to come by. Bring some items to make his limited space a little more cozy.
Something to pass the time – If you like knitting, cross-stitching or playing cards, for example, bring your hobby with you. Bring a baby name book if you've left this decision for the last minute. Or start filling out birth announcements for relatives and friends. The time you spend in the hospital should be as relaxing and restful as you can make it.
More snacks – Hospital food is notorious for causing constipation. Packs of raisins, nuts or whole-wheat crackers will help keep you regular.
Going-home outfits – You'll still be sporting a sizeable belly, so don't pack those pre-pregnancy jeans just yet. Bring something that was comfortable when you were about 6 months pregnant.
A going-home outfit for baby should be comfortable as well. Bring a kimono or stretch suit, undershirt, booties and a hat. Make sure you have a receiving blanket and heavy bunting blanket if it's cold. Diapers will most likely be provided by the hospital, but bring a few just in case.
Car seat – You can't take your baby home without one, so don't forget it!

You need to bring all of your bathroom stuff you normally use in the shower or use when you get ready for the day. Depending on visitors you might want to bring make-up. PJ's good for easy access for breastfeeding, no cute bottoms though, you will ruin them. Old underwear you dont mind getting ruined, they will be. As for sanitary napkins the hospital provides that and they dont sell the size they have. If you are hot natured bring a portable fan, your pillows of course. Your husband or whom ever is staying there with you will want to bring blankets and pillow b/c there bed and things are not comfortable. Defiently bring your own towel, just trust me on that one. For the baby all you need really is anything your taking your baby home from the hospital with. Such as blanket, car seat, cute outfit. Everything else is provided. Everyone in the nursery loves when they are dressed up. Oh bring the outfit pic's will be taken in if you want those. That is all you really need. Remember the more you bring the more you have to carry home.
By the way you will return home in maternty clothes if you didn't know that already, so an outfit to come home in

They'll give you toiletries (like shampoo, soap, toothpaste), but I'd bring my own, if I were you. (Hospital toothpaste tastes like butt)Make sure you have a few pairs of undies that you won't mind tossing if they're to get stained. With a C-section, may I suggest a loose fitting robe rather than pants? Hmm... slippers, a camera, and the coming home clothes for you.
Also, if you'll be nursing, a comfy pillow.
Good luck and Congrats!!!

you don't really need to pack too much stuff for yourself because for most of your stay you'll be in the hospital gown...plus (not to sound gross) if you have the baby vaginally, you're going ot bleed a lot...so you don't want to ruin your own clothes. But all you really need is something to go home in...and it doesn't hurt to buy a girdle to wear. That way you can start putting your body back in place....and for the baby you can pack what every clothes you want him/her to wear...congratulations on your new arrival
