I am an american asian man dating many beautiful women in NYC. first it wasn't obvious, but now it's gotten to my head and i have to learn how to deal with it. i've begun to notice that sometimes hispanic males would stare down at me while i'm with my date, especially if she's white. i've used many tactics, and the one most useful at the moment is confronting them with a question, "i've noticed that you've been staring at me. can i help you?"
if you're non-hispanic and non-white and are dating white women sometimes, can you relate to this? and if so, how do you deal with it? i've just had it up to here. thank you for responding.
and btw, only a few hispanics are racists, but the ones that i get confronted with stand out the most. and since we are able to talk about dealing with white racists, etc, i believe that we should be able to talk about other racists, especially now that hispanics are the biggest minority in the u.s.
thanks in advance.

wow. you got me. you're absolutely right. i don't date anybody and i'm just playing a race card. how did you know that? you so far have the best answer... i mean, i should have known that all hispanics are perfect. there's no racists in that race. and when a hispanic male does happen to stare down at me when i'm with an "imagined" date, i should know that i'm just pulling a race card because it's not right to badmouth any non-existing racists in the hispanic race. and y'know, i don't live in a place where 50% of the residents are hispanics.
you're the least prejudiced person here. thanks for not judging me btw.
open your mind.

"they see you have a good looking girl they may feel that you are not worthy and try to intimidate you away from her."
that statement speaks to me. that's the body language that i get. and nowadays i get angry that they can think such things about me. it's degrading. sometimes i feel like i have to prove something to these racists. and you're right, they never physically confront me. it's all in the body language, which i used to never notice when i first came to nyc.
YOU JUST PINPOINTED AT MY HEART.
thank you very much.

Daemon,
i'm a kinda person that meets people in the subway. as a matter of fact, all my really good friends have been met through a subway ride. and the racist thing happens the most when i start initiating a conversation with someone whom i find attractive in the subway station, even when the woman is responding very positively towards me.
the only reason why i'm writing this is nowadays i lose my cool when i notice that someone's staring down at me. i can be having the most fun conversation with the girl, and i get thrown off when i notice these things.
and i wish i didn't.
