For psychology I need to think of a "psychological experience" and questions about the experience.

no clue.

The experience i thought about doing was my 30 day backpacking trip in the absarokas. It was with all complete strangers. No deodorant, soap, toilets the whole time. i totally wish i was back there. does this sound good and can you htink of any good questions?

That would work...but maybe you might try a more common
experience that everyone would identify with. Falling in love, your 1st bad break up, your personal reaction to the attacks on 09-11-01, or graduating High School.

A "Psychological Experience" is anything in your life that changed the way you looked at yourself, and/or the world around you, basically its an experience that would have had an effect on you or others, and why. So an example would be a death in the family, or a close friend, or it could be Moving to University, away from home.... even your Back-packing trip could definately be a Psychological experience.

I have done my honours in Psychology, and this seems to be a favourite question for Lecturers... they like to see if you can look at your own life objectively, from a clinical perspective, and see how simple situations affect the way you look at the world.

Questions you can look at are... Are you someone who enjoys change in your life... why? And if this is related to the trip then how did that like or dislike of change show itself in your behaviour and /or attitude on the trip. Have you ever been in a situation where you have had to be in close contact with lots of strangers before (ie: moving into a dorm with other strangers etc)? Looking at your life in general, can show how these situations either continue the types of situations you know, or how you have moved out of your comfort zone.

I suggest that once you have decided on your "experience" , write a list of all the emotions and feelings you had in relation to that experience... that will give you a springboard for the types of things that you can include in your paper... fear, shyness, freedom, irritation, sadness etc, then compare these feelings to your ordinary, everyday life, and that can help you decide on interesting contrasts or similarities.

Basically (after my essay of an answer), you must have been studying some Psychology or at least read some articles etc and I don't know what level you are... just look at the simple situations and break them down in detail... attitudes, behaviour and emotions are all good places to start with asking questions

So was it some sort of cathartic experience for you and your new found pals to be stinking up the wilderness. After 30 days with no soap you all must have been riper than a dozen rotten eggs.

What's psycological about that experience?

Sounds like a great subject.

What were your fears? Anxieties?

How did you respond to/handle them? After the trip was over, were your fears justified?

What do you think were the fears of the others on the trip? Were their fears the same as yours? Did you discuss your fears with them? Did they discuss their fears with you? If not, why not? If so, what was the outcome of the discussion? (e.g. did discussing your fears alleviate your fears?).

Hope this helps. Best wishes and good luck.

Awsome, getting back to Nature is already good to be.,
We all like the opposite of what we want. You have spent years in a big city and just need to get out. Keep wanting.

THINK ABOUT WHEN SOMETHING REMINDED YOU OF A FAMILY MEMBER, AND THE FEELINGS AND THOUGHT YOU HAD.
